In the parallel universe of demoMedia, where business is better than ever, we appear to be doing the opposite to popular demand and rather than contracting the team, we’ve expanded ourselves to such magnitude that we’re now looking for alternative office space.

Firstly, we welcome with open arms and flailing hot-dogs the company of Barry and Jonathan, both competent developers fresh from the arena. They compliment our existing team and swell the ranks of designers and developers to 8 people.

Secondly, we also introduce a new aspect to demoMedia – Catherine and Philippa take their places as Business Development Manager and also Account Manager respectively. Catherine comes from ZDNET so brings with her a wealth of digital media experience and is well versed in working within a fast moving, high demand media environment. Philippa has a very interesting history working with social media and networking so comes armed with the knowledge required to motivate contemporary clients.

Finally, we’ve also been lucky to obtain Lydia as office manager. You can recognise Lydia on the phone as she answers with her unique, quasi Anglo-American accent.

Things don’t stop there, however, as we’ve also hired a new Tech Director to the team. This as yet unnamed person (due to legal reasons) will take a production lead in the company in terms of setting standards, processes and more importantly, brain storming new ideas.

We’re in Farringdon, but we’ve rapidly outgrown our offices – we’ve only been here 2.5 years but in that time we’ve seen steady growth and, despite the doom-mongery of the media, appear to see consistency in business to business spending.

demoMedia have always strived to be champions of value and quality, our scaled and transparent pricing has meant our expenses are manageable and controlled at no expense to service quality. We’ve never bloated our pricing models with unnecessary expenses and as a result, we maintain that we can remain lean and fat free during troubled times.
